I called this company after getting an insanely high quote. He quoted me that day after sending a few pictures. The job was booked within a week. The guys showed up on time. Were very professional. Answered any questions I had. They were all very polite and didn't mind my dogs running around barking. They explained what they had completed and showed me the work they had done before leaving. The invoice was exactly what the quote was. Great service. Would highly recommend!!

From free quote to job completion Josh, Mitch and the crew were professional and courteous. They arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done. Our dirty and very wet crawlspace has become dry usable storage. The air quality in our home has improved dramatically. I can’t recommend this company enough.

We recently hired Watershield to install interior basement weeping tile, sump pumps with battery backup and dimple board membrane to grade in our Halifax home. From the initial consultation with Josh, through the execution and closeout with Mitchell, they were great to work with - responsive, communicative, punctual, respectful and dedicated to quality workmanship. Without hesitation we would highly recommend them.

Right from my first call for a quote, all communications were prompt and honest. When Josh first dropped by, he listened to the water issue I was having in the basement and recommended what was needed. Within the next 24 hours, I received a quote. Not only were they the fastest to reply, they also had the best price (compared to two other companies). Mitch was the one who led his team for the renovations. I appreciated the fact that he introduced his crew. All of them were polite and friendly. Before starting work, Mitch took the time to discuss the plan to make sure I was on the same page. The work was done efficiently and professionally. They cleaned up nicely too. Both Josh and Mitch seem to be sincere people who love and care about what they do. So I definitely recommend their service and will use them again in the future if needed!p.s. I can't testify to the outcome yet as I need to wait for a downpour.Updates : May 9, 2023 - we had a good downpour over a few days and the sump pump worked great! Our basement was dry.

We hired Watershield to encapsulate our sketchy gravel floor basement. The lack of dampness and improved air quality was immediately noticeable. Josh, Mitchell, and their team did a quick and clean install, are competitively priced, and provide a level of customer service that you generally don't find in a contractor.

I contacted Watershield regarding a longstanding issue with water getting in the basement despite a sump. Josh answered very quickly and arrived promptly to do an assessment. What he recommended made sense and the quote was super reasonable.The workers arrived on the day of work being done. They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. Communication was excellent. The workers cleaned up all debris.Although I cannot speak to the results yet as the work has just been completed, the service and instillation was the best. The final bill was exactly what I was quoted. Very impressed with this company and how they conduct business. Hight recommend!

Watershield came through for us after we had a bad experience with a well known larger company here in Halifax. We should have just went with them from the start, they are genuinely willing to work with you and answer all your questions and concerns. They provided excellent timely service, and got the job done in two days (as opposed to the six month battle with the larger company) I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. Our crawlspace was disgusting, wet, smelly and muddy. Now it's a lovely dry encapsulated space I no longerhave to worry about, thank you so much Josh and team!

They did a great job with a property that needed repairs. Another company did not show up so I called WaterShield and was glad I did. That other company not showing up was a blessing as WaterShield was a great choice!
